Agastache rugosa, commonly known as Korean mint, is a beautiful aromatic perennial herb with tall spikes of deep blue/ purple flowers, tubular flowers that attract pollinators. The leaves have a refreshing, minty/ licorice scent and taste, and are often used in herbal tea and medicinally.
It thrives in well-drained soil with ample sunlight or part shade. It can reach heights of 2 to 4 feet. Agastache rugosa is quite resilient, tolerating drought conditions once established, Gardeners appreciate its ability to attract beneficial insects while its medicinal uses continue to be explored in herbal remedies.
