Lemongrass is a versatile herb that is widely used in culinary applications, particularly in Southeast Asian cuisines, where it adds a fresh, citrusy flavor to dishes like soups, curries, and teas. Lemongrass is also known for its potential health benefits.

Lemongrass thrives in warm, tropical climates with plenty of sunlight and moist but well-drained, fertile soil. In the UK climate it grows best in polytunnel/ greenhouse, but may grow outside in a warm sheltered spot. It is not hardy, so to over-winter it should be brought into a heated space.
